The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua provides daily after school programs and services to youth, ages 8 to 18, to work towards our mission of helping youth to “realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.”

What does my $15 per year Boys & Girls Club membership include?

• After School Hours – 2:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Vacation Hours – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Free transportation from all Nashua public schools
• Meals program year-round with free and reduced meals available.
• Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences including:

o Education & Career Development – A variety of programs that highlight learning and skill building are offered to Club members of ages, including daily Homework Help and tutoring opportunities, access to technology, public speaking, job shadowing experiences, and college preparation classes. College scholarships are available. Call the Club for more information.

o Character & Leadership Development – Members of all ages can participate in leadership groups, community service projects, and interactive opportunities that encourage learning about self and others.

o The Arts – Members can participate in a variety of cultural, visual and performing arts opportunities, including clay, watercolors and acrylics, photography, dance groups, and much more.

o Health & Life Skills – Members are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities concerning nutrition, anti-bullying, food safety, personal safety habits, and practical skills to develop as productive and caring citizens.

o Sports, Fitness & Recreation – A variety of opportunities are available for all members in Games room, Teen Room, Gymnasium, and Pool areas. Members are encouraged to become physically active as well as socialize with other members through the variety of programs and activities that are available to them. Traveling teams for floor hockey, basketball, competitive swim, synchronized swim, wrestling, basketball and volleyball are available for certain age groups.

Girls Incorporated offers afterschool programs for girls between the ages of 5-18 during the hours of 2:30pm-6:00pm. Transportation is provided from all Nashua Schools and a snack is also provided. Sliding fee scales, financial assistance and scholarships are available. Activities include, Girls Inc. programming, cooking, gym games, creative art, dance classes, science & math activities and homework help.
